Hard Drive
I got myself a 200GB external hard drive and I had to work extra hard to get my laptop to stay charged for long enough to get some of my files off of it. I don't have them all off yet, but most of them. As soon as I can get all of my files off of it and delete everything that has to do with me I am going to attempt to sell in on eBay for some sort of money over $100 hopefully.
This laptop has this broken:
The entire cd/dvd drive -- it wont even open
The touchpad
The connection inside the laptop that keeps the ac adapter connected and charging the laptop -- because without it the battery only lasts about an hour now and I can't even keep it connected long enough to charge it for any length of time. If you jimmy it around and hold it tight in some sort of weird arrangement you can keep it connected for a little bit.
Last night I was on the ground, on my side, on a pile of laundry with my arm extended holding the connection really tight in an odd way with my other hand extended running the external mouse (because the touchpad is broken).
I LOVE my external hard drive. I'm a geek, it's awesome to have so much space and the freedom to take it anywhere I want it. It transfers very fast, and it runs programs off of it, so I can still have my graphic design programs even without a laptop.
Also, I am using V's laptop (which is our laptop now) so I'm on as much as I can be, but sometimes it's not as much as I want it to be.
If anyone reads this that used to read my blog, you are AWESOME, because it's almost 2 months after my last post and you're still checking in on me :-)
Oh, and Merry Christmas and Happy New Year too!! :-D

I saw our local production of Into The Woods last night and thought of you during the WHOLE show! The show was fair -- some good singers, some okay ones, some, wellllll hahahaha....a few minor mishaps with sets too. The lady that played Cinderella's Stepmother was made up so badly, she looked like a drag queen -- until she spoke, I was honestly positive it was a MAN! The baker was okay, but I'm sure not as good as you! Do you get any mp3s of your songs? Let me hear!!

Amazing... a new post. Kind of. I obviously haven't been around in a while. Lars- ALWAYS get the extended warranty on laptops. It has been worth the extra $200 every time for us...
