RED SOX!!!!!
yay baby!!!! Pulling it out in the bottom of the 14th!!!! OH, yeah. Ortiz saves the day again. He hit the winning homerun last night in the bottom of the 12th. He hit the homerun tonight to start the run to tie the game. THEN he has the base hit to drive in the winning run in the bottom of the 14th!!! OOOOH YEAH, STAYING ALIVE.

ok...anyway, now on to the funny part...
So Johnny Damon, the centerfielder for the Red Sox, my sister and I have been calling Billy Ray (hehe, it makes me laugh) because he grew out a short beard and he grew out his hair, all around, BUT, under his helmet and his hat it looks like a mullet, and well, Billy Ray Cyrus...Acky Brakey Heart...he has a crappy lookin' beard and a mullet and they look EXACTLY alike, so we call Johnny Damon Billy Ray and every time he comes on the tv we yell "Billy Ray" and it's very funny...to us
ANYWAY...that's funny by itself, but, Kaia was watching the game with us tonight and Billy Ray got on first at the bottom of the 14th and Kaia started asking "Is Billy Ray on first?" it was SO funny!! She now knows him as Billy Ray and she kept asking throughout that inning where Billy Ray was, and when Ortiz hit the base hit that sent Billy Ray home I picked up Kaia and was dancing around the room all happy because they had won and Billy Ray got home, and so Kaia wanted to know what happened with Billy Ray and why he ran home...it was probably funnier in person and to us because we're brother and sister and we do stupid things like that...but it was FUNNY that Kaia was all in to Billy Ray and we just think it's so funny that we still call him Billy Ray, sometimes we still call him Johnny Damon, but we say it "Johnny Damon" just like we say "Billy Ray."
Oh, oh, oh...and my dad was trying to explain to me what happened with an out last night while I was in the other room helping Kaia with something and it was something Johnny Damon did wrong in centerfield and Dad called him Billy Ray and Jena and I cracked up laughing and, jeez, it was just so funny...we got Dad calling him Billy Ray too...
ok...I'm done with my Red Sox/Johnny Damon/Billy Ray/Kaia story...still giggling though and still so ecstatic and on a high that the Red Sox won 2 in a row and now it's 3 games to 2, Yankees up still, and now back to New York...where it will be hard for the Red Sox to win...the game ended after 5 hours and 49 minutes and 14 innings of play, a new record for the ALCS, and the next game is 21 hours after that one ended...wow...cool...
